Kim’s birthday is believed to be January 8, although his regime has never confirmed the date. The US government lists Kim’s year of birth as 1984, which makes him 40 years old this year.
North Korea has not confirmed Kim’s date of birth, but his birthday is believed to be on January 8, Reuters reports.
The birth dates of his father and grandfather, who preceded Kim in leadership of the country, are National Celebrations in North Korea.
