The federal government is planning to phasing out of “major restrictions” for the pandemic until March 20.
The beginning will be with the abolition of the 2G Rule (access only to vaccinated / sick) in the retail trade and the relaxation of the measures for the contacts.
According to proposal to be submitted by the Chancellery at the conference with the Prime Ministers of the states on Wednesday, “until the beginning of spring, on March 20, 2022, the extensive restrictions on social, cultural and economic life will be gradually withdrawn.”
As a first step, private meetings of vaccinated and cured people with more than ten participants will be possible. The proposal speaks for 20 people, but the final number remains open. For those who have not been vaccinated or become ill, contact restrictions will remain in effect until March 19. THE 2G rule is expected to be abolished immediately and nationally for access to shops.
Access to restaurants will be available from March 4 for those who undergo a 24-hour diagnostic test, while unvaccinated people who have been tested will now be able to access hotels. The nightclubs will reopen for those who have been vaccinated / recovered and for those who have either completed their booster vaccination or have a negative 24-hour test. Restrictions on the number of spectators at major events, including sports, are also expected to ease.
