In his post-victory remarks, Biden thanked the state’s voters and said:
“South Carolina, we’ve done it again! In 2020 and now in 2024! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We won! Let’s go now to win the elections.”

The US president said he is confident he will defeat Donald Trump “once again” in November, the undisputed favorite for the Republican nomination, with whom he had faced in the presidential elections in 2020.
