At the age of 62, after a battle with cancer, Toby Keith, popular country singer in the USA and performer of Should’ve Been a Cowboy, the most popular song of the genre of the decade, has passed away. 90.

Keith announced he was suffering from stomach cancer in June 2022 but continued to record and perform live – albeit visibly emaciated – until the end.
His family announced that the singer died peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, at his home on February 5.

As of December 2023, the singer has been performing live three nights a week in Las Vegas, singing many of his 32 No. 1 hits and 42 Top 10 hits.

During his distinguished career, he sold more than 40 million records thanks to country hits such as “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” “Made in America” and “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American).”
Tob Keith performed at the People’s Choice Country Awards 2023 in September, where he received the Country Icon Award.
In 2006, the singer created a foundation to help children battling cancer.
