Kremlin strongman Vladimir Putin called US President Joe Biden’s insult to the same comment “rude”.

During an event in San Francisco, the US president ranked his Russian counterpart among the “existential threats” to humanity. “The existential threat is climate change. There’s also that naughty putt…. son (a.k.a. ‘crazy SOB’), Putin and others, while we always have to worry about the possibility of nuclear war. But the existential threat to humanity is climate change,” said the 81-year-old Democratic US president. The acronym SOB used by Biden refers to the phrase “son of a bitch”, which translates to “put… son” in Greek.

Asked by a journalist to comment on the characterization that the US president used for him, Vladimir Putin succinctly said that his behavior was “rude”.

However, he reiterated that he prefers Joe Biden to Donald Trump in the White House because the Democratic incumbent US president is “more predictable” compared to his Republican predecessor. He added, however, that he is willing to work with whoever is elected president of the United States.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov earlier spoke of a failed attempt to portray the US president as a “Hollywood cowboy”.
