Elon Musk is suing OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altmanincluding, claiming they abandoned the company’s original mission to develop artificial intelligence for the benefit of humanity and not profit.

The lawsuit filed late Thursday said that Altman and OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman initially approached Musk about starting a non-profit open source company.

Musk’s lawyers in the lawsuit filed in San Francisco say that the company is focused on making money, in violation of this contract. They added that the company had reserved the design of GPT-4, of its most advanced artificial intelligence model, “top secret”.

Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015, but stepped down from its board in 2018.

It is reminded that Last year OpenAI’s Board of Directors completely suddenly and unexpectedly fired the co-founder and head of the company Sam Altman.

the board reported that there was a lack of trust in Altman who either lied to board members or withheld critical information about the company’s operations.
