They are intensifying in the last few days the attacks between Russia and Ukraine. A barrage of attacks occurred from both sides during the night and early hours of the morning.

Ukraine says it hit two large Russian amphibious ships overnight in Crimea

Specifically, the Ukrainian military announced on Sunday that it had hit two large Russian amphibious ships and a communications center used by Russia’s Black Sea Fleet during nighttime raids on the annexed Crimean peninsula, Reuters reported.

A Russian official, for his part, reported that a major Ukrainian attack took place overnight and added that air defense shot down more than 10 missiles over the Crimean port of Sevastopol.

The sirens sounded in Kiev and Lviv

At the same time, Russian forces launched airstrikes in Kiev at dawn today, as well as in the Lviv region of western Ukraine, according to local officials.

“Explosions in the capital. The anti-aircraft defense system is operational. Don’t leave the shelters,” Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said in a Telegram post.

According to Sergei Popko, head of the Kyiv military administration, the Russian military attacked the Ukrainian capital using cruise missiles fired from Tu-95MS strategic bombers.

Ukrainian air defense “shot down about 10 enemy missiles over Kiev and in the outskirts of the capital,” Popko said in a post on the social networking site Telegram, clarifying that according to preliminary information there were no casualties or damage.

According to Popko, the attack was launched from the Saratov region in southwestern Russia.
For the third time in a week, the entire territory of Ukraine was put on alert overnight. The alert lasted two hours in the capital, according to Popkos.

Russian missiles and Iranian-made Shahed drones were also fired at the Stryi district, in the southern part of the city of Lviv, in western Ukraine, according to the governor of the district of the same name Maxim Kozytskyi.

“The target was vital infrastructure,” announced Lviv Mayor Andriy Sandovy, who counted about 20 missiles and 7 drones.
