The USA are very open to negotiations with the Russia with regard to the ongoing Ukrainian crisissaid today the US Vice President Kamala Harris, but warned that its country and its allies would impose significant and unprecedented economic sanctions on Russia if it invaded Ukraine.
National borders should not be changed by force, he said.
“We have prepared financial measures that will be immediate, strong and common. “We will target Russia’s financial institutions and key industries,” Harris warned.
The United States will not stop at economic sanctions, but will further strengthen NATO forces in Eastern Europe, Harris said at the Munich Security Conference, which she is attending.
“Today, the United States and our allies and partners are closer together. Today our goals are clear. And today we are even more confident in our vision. Our power should not be underestimated. Because it is in our unity. “As we have always shown, you need a lot more power to build something than you need to tear it down.”
Harris argued that Russia was following a tried and tested recipe, making a threat and then denying that anything was going on with its actions in Ukraine. “Their actions do not go with their words,” Harris commented.
