Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, a royal cookbook will be released in the fall.
The book “Cooking and the Crown: Royal Recipes from Queen Victoria to King Charles III” it includes more than 100 recipes for every season and occasion, from breakfast, picnics, dinners, to formal banquets and coronation meals, and includes stories about chefs, kitchens and traditions of the United Kingdom’s royal family.
“As a food history buff, I can’t tell you how exciting it was to write this book,” Tom Parker Bowles said in a statement. “It’s fascinating to read original recipes in the Royal Archives at Windsor and disappear into the lives and eating habits of rulers from Queen Victoria to the present day” he emphasized noting that in the cookbook he has included recipes that he likes to cook.
Restaurant critic Parker Bowles has written several books about food, but this is his first time delving into the royal world.
2022 saw the release of his book ‘Time for Tea’ on the British history of tea etiquette.
