At least one one person was killed and nine others were injured pwith Russian strikes that took place on the night of Thursday to Friday in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in southern Ukraine, according to the authorities.

One woman was killed in the Sinelnikivsky District, in the southeastern part of the city of Dniproregional governor Serhii Lisak reported on Telegram without giving further details.

“A five-story apartment building on fire in Dnipro. It is partially destroyed. There may be people in the wreckage,” noted Lisak, who also spoke of damage in a district of Krivi Rykh, southwest of Dnipro.

According to the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, the attack in the city center injured nine people.

In Russia, Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of the Belgorod region, announced that 25 aerial targets were shot down as they headed for the city of the same name, near the border with Ukraine.

Gladkov added in a Telegram post that there were no injuries, but noted that several buildings were damaged, including broken windows, while others were on fire.
