In an unusual way, from a fruit shop in Rome, the Italian Prime Minister and president of the Brothers of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, decided to send her last pre-election message.

In a short video posted on Instagram shortly after midnight, Meloni is in a fruit shop in Rome and asks the shop owner “not to say anything, because it’s not allowed, because of the election campaign”.

Afterwards, the Italian Prime Minister tastes cherries, extolling their taste and finally asks the fruit seller “what variety it is”. He does not answer, but shows a paper sign, which reads “Varietà Giorgia”, that is, “Variety of Georgia”.

During the parliamentary election process, in the fall of 2022, Meloni had made a similar move. In her post on the internet she had appeared with two melons in her hand, saying “I said it all”. Remember that in Italian, melons are called “meloni”.
