A US cell in Israel that worked with Israeli forces supported the operation to rescue four Israeli hostages, a US official told CNN.
According to the American network, Israel had been preparing for weeks for the sabbath business, with hundreds of officers from the Israeli army, Israeli Intelligence and a special police unit taking part.
