The mayor of the capital of Ukraine announced today the tightening of the traffic ban that has come into force due to the Russian invasion, warning that any person who will be on the road between 17.00 and 08.00 will be treated by the authorities as an enemy.
“All citizens who are on the street during the curfew will be considered members of sabotage and enemy reconnaissance teams,” Vitali Klitschko told the Telegram.
The curfew imposed in Kiev on Thursday, after the start of the Russian attack, lasted until today between 22.00 and 07.00.
Klitschko also announced that the metro of the Ukrainian capital is being converted into refuge for residents and will not operate, for the time being, itineraries.
“The subway is being turned into a shelter,” he wrote in a separate message to the Telegram.
