A revealing speech about how she was abused as a teenager in the various strict schools – institutions that her parents sent her to in order to tame her problematic behavior as a teenager was given by Paris Hilton, testifying to a congressional committee that examines the strengthening of child welfare protection.

The golden heiress with the glamorous life described how she was abused – even sexually – and subjected to degrading treatment in the expensive structures for “troubled teenagers” for years.

“When I was 16 I was taken out of bed in the middle of the night and put into the first of a series of youth support institutions (private boarding schools). These programs promised treatment, development and support, but instead, they did not allow me to speak, move freely or even look out of a window for two years,” he revealed.

“The staff humiliated me, forcibly gave me medication, sexually assaulted me, stripped me down and dragged me through the corridors, eventually putting me in solitary confinement,” he continued.
As she said, her parents knew nothing about this torture because they had been “deceived” by the very expensive boarding schools that sent her because of their very good methods and facilities.

“Can you imagine what the thousands of children are going through in state shelters, who have no one to care for them?” he wondered rhetorically, then described how a 15-year-old boy died in an institution because a sandwich in the cafeteria simply fell on him.

“I am here to be the voice of the children who are not being heard…The treatment these children are receiving (in shelters) is criminal…I will not stop until America’s youth are safe. If you are a child in a welfare institution, know this: I see you, I feel you, and I am here for you,” she said, closing her statement before the committee.
