The Russian Defense Ministry also announced today that its forces carried out strikes against defense industry targets and air bases in Ukraine.

In addition, one civilian was killed and three were wounded by Ukrainian shells that hit a village in the border Russian region of Belgorod, its governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said today.
