“The reality is that today there are two separate peoples and two separate states on the island. The negotiations for the solution of the Cyprus issue and the goal to be achieved must be based on this reality. With this understanding, Turkey believes that the time has come to negotiate a two-state solution” he said characteristically adding that the time has come “to record the sovereign equality and equal international status of the Turkish Cypriot people” and to recognize the Turkish Republic of the North Cyprus»

In fact, he spoke about provocative moves on the part of Cyprus, which by receiving military aid from third countries does not promote finding a solution.

He characteristically said that Ankara knows that since October, when the Israel-Hamas conflictmilitary elements of some European states (Germany, France, the Netherlands, etc.) have been deployed in Cyprus under the pretext of evacuating civilians from the conflict zone and humanitarian aid and that warships of other countries, especially the USA (United Kingdom, Greece, Italy, etc.) have used the ports belonging to the pseudo-state, stressing that Turkey will continue to take all necessary measures against its activities that disturb the balance on the island and pose a threat to the security of the “TRNC”.

He added that Ankara will continue to stand by its sisters, while persisting in its efforts to ensure that the “Turkish Cypriot people look to the future with confidence and increase their level of prosperity.

“We are absolutely determined to build a future where our brothers and sisters of Cyprus will live in security, peace and prosperityhe said characteristically, adding that the intention is to protect the rights and interests of Turkey as well as the pseudo-state in the Mediterranean.

He spoke of a nation of two states with one heart and described “the profile” of the Turkish soldier during the Cypriot invasion, which was once again recorded in history, speaking of skills and unprecedented heroism and sacrifice which were once again recorded in history, “in this business“, which was carried out in two phases and was done within the framework of their rights under international law as a guarantor country.

He emphasized that the Turkish Cypriot Peacekeeping Forces Command, which has been stationed on the island since 1974, is the guarantee of peace and security for both sides.

Based on the above, he argued that defining Turkey’s military presence on the island in a different way and the provocative statements on this issue will not benefit Cyprus in any way.

He estimated that the fact that there has been no blood and tears on the island for half a century is due to the presence of the ‘Turkish Peacekeeping Forces’ there.

He also stated that the Turkish President calls on the international community at every step to recognize the ‘Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’ as soon as possible, since at the core of this call is the idea of ​​a permanent and just solution to the deadlock in the Cyprus issue.
