“We, the political leaders of the democratic world, cannot remain silent in the face of this endless carnage,” he ruled.

In eight days, the Israeli armed forces launched five bombings against schools housing those displaced by the war in the Palestinian enclave.

Israel asserts that Hamas and other Palestinian armed organizations use schools, hospitals and other public infrastructure for military purposes. Hamas denies the accusation.
