Russia announced today that shot down 26 Ukrainian drones in the southern region of Rostovon the border with Ukraine, on the night of Friday to Saturday.

“Last night, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed a total of 26 drones in the Rostov region. The attack caused no casualties.”local governor Vasily Golubev said via Telegram.

“Emergency services go to the site of the debris from the drone”, he added himself.

Russian drones hit energy plants in Ukraine, officials say

Russian drones launched during a nighttime attack on Ukraine hit energy infrastructure in two regions in the north of the country, officials said today.

Ukrainian air defenses shot down 13 of 17 Russian drones launched, over five regions in the eastern, northern and central parts of the country, according to the Air Force.

One of the Shahed drones hit an energy facility in the Sumy region, while another hit a plant in the Chernihiv region, according to local officials.

Damage repair crews rushed to the affected areas, officials said. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
