Kamala Harris has now secured the support of a sufficient number of delegates at the Democratic convention – at least 1,967 – to be held in August in Chicago, so it can be considered definitive that she will be the party’s candidate in the presidential election on November 5 after he withdraws President Joe Biden from the race, according to the American network CNN.

In fact, the latest figures from the Associated Press show that the vice president is supported by more than 2,500 agents, far more than the 1,976 required.

However, the development cannot be described as official yet, since these calculations are based on journalistic information. Delegates who had sided with Mr. Biden are now free to choose after the president ended his re-election campaign last Sunday.

Kamala Harris has a mountain of work ahead of her, but almost no time, since in less than two months, American citizens will begin exercising their right to vote during early voting in the run-up to the November 5 presidential election.

The country’s vice president who is vying to become its first female president, must to raise additional funds from donors, she has to figure out what her strategy will be in the election arena, she has to hire staff, she has to launch her election campaign, she has to choose a candidate for the position of vice president and of course she has to win the support of more voters because she has to attend and at the Democratic Convention on August 19 in Chicago. And the list goes on…

However, Kamala Harris is… lucky because already the mechanisms of her election campaign are rigged and laid after having “worked” for so long on behalf of the President of the United States, Joe Biden. In Wilmington, Delaware two buildings house her headquarters and the official campaign committee has already been renamed Kamala Harris HQ and she is expected to visit them today.

The big issue, however, at the moment for her is money. The committee has a total of 96 million dollars in its hands. This allows her to start her election campaign without any delay, while an air of security blew when within 15 hours she collected 49.6 million in donations which in 24 hours exceeded 80 million. However, she still has a ways to go since, at the same time, Donald Trump has 128.1 million and counting.

At the same time, of course, the voters were also in demand. It takes at least 1976 to gain the Anointing. Supporting Biden gives her voters rapidly since the president of the United States had gathered the support of a total of 3,896 ahead of the Democratic Convention.

According to information, until Monday night she had the support of a total of 700 voters, while shortly before 06:00 this morning it “caught” the target of 1,976 and her potential rivals in the race have so far only appeared to support her. They are Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Maryland Governor Wes Moore. United States Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttige and Arizona Senator Mark Kelly have also expressed their support.

The key, of course, is the support of the former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who, publishing a joint photo of them, emphasized that “with immense pride and boundless optimism for the future of our country, I support Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidency of the United States.” I have full confidence that he will lead us to victory in November.”

Next step should be to also be the choice of the vice president. Joe Biden in 2020 had announced that he was choosing the candidacy of Kamala Harris for the position on August 11. If for symbolic reasons she also chooses the same date to announce her choice then she has about three weeks left. But he could also wait until the Congress of the party.

Finally, Kamala Harris should be reintroduced to voters. This time as a presidential candidate. This implies that her campaign should bear her signature. Even the ads that will be set up will have to be absolutely targeted to get the messages of her agenda across to the voters. The fact that she herself will have to start her pre-election speeches and appearances all over the country will contribute to this.
