UNHCR “congratulations” on Greece’s stance on immigration |

Congratulations to the Greek authorities for their efforts in immigration, especially with regard to unaccompanied minors, gives the representative of the UN High Commissioner for Greece Maria Clara Martin.

“Thanks to the very good work of the Special Secretariat for the Protection of Unaccompanied Minors, with the EURelocation mechanism for Hospitality and protection of unaccompanied minors, the lives of 1,000+ children have changed for the better! We look forward to continuing our cooperation! “ The high-ranking UN official typically states on twitter, quoting a message from the High Commission regarding the departure of 14 unaccompanied children from Greece to Portugal.

Mrs. Martin’s statements come in the wake of the attempt to tarnish the image of our country in immigration.
