Coming from the camp of Democrats Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr) and Tulsi Gabbard, who recently expressed their support for Trump’s candidacy for the US presidency, were chosen by the Republican tycoon to frame the “transition group” – as the advisory staff is called that proposes to the president-elect the persons who will take up ministerial posts and positions in the White House – if of course he is the winner of the November 5th elections.

As President Trump’s broad coalition of supporters expands across party lines, we are proud to have Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard join the Trump/Vance transition team“, says the relevant update from Brian Hughes, adviser to Trump’s election campaign.

70-year-old RFK Jr, an environmental lawyer, anti-vaccinationist and descendant of the Kennedy dynasty, initially sought the Democratic presidential nomination before deciding to run as an independent. He ultimately chose to withdraw from the race and endorse Trump’s candidacy.

In an interview released Monday on Platform X (formerly Twitter), Kennedy told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that he was asked to join Trump’s transition team to “help pick the people” who will have government jobs.

Gabbard, 43, had been running for the Democratic nomination in the 2020 presidential election. She left the party in 2022 and, as a vocal critic of President Biden and his administration, became popular among conservatives and appeared frequently on television and radio shows.
