Six people are still in critical condition while the death toll is expected to rise further, said Dr. Faisal Haidar, director of Masyaf National Hospital.

As reported by the country’s state news agency, five locations were targeted, including a scientific research center. A UK-based war monitor said the attacks came in waves, targeting military sites in the town of Masyaf where pro-Iranian weapons development experts were working.
