The Government of Canada on Saturday called on the citizens of the country to avoid any trip to Russia due to the armed conflict in Ukraine and all those who are on Russian territory to leave it as soon as possible.
Updating its travel instructions, the Canadian Foreign Ministry said it was now advising Canadians to “avoid any travel to Russia because of the effects of the armed conflict with Ukraine, including reduced availability of air travel and financial connections.”
“If you are in Russia, you should leave while there are still commercial options available for it,” he added.
Canada, which has already announced several economic sanctions on Russia, “will continue to impose sanctions on (Russian President Vladimir Putin) and the oligarchs” to understand their “monumental mistake,” Canadian Prime Minister Tz , announcing his upcoming tour in Europe. He will leave Ottawa today to travel to London, Riga, Berlin and Warsaw, where he will hold talks in support of Ukraine.
