The move by Democratic mega-investor George Soros to buy 200 radio stations across the country, less than a month and a half before the November 5 presidential election, has sparked intense concern – especially among Republicans.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has reportedly fast-tracked a decision to allow left-wing billionaire Soros (and Democratic mega-donor) to acquire a significant stake in more than 200 radio stations, potentially allowing the investor to reach more than 165 million American voters in a critical moment.

Billionaire George Soros has reportedly bought Audacy, the second largest radio station chain in the US, which owns 220 US radio stations on 40 frequencies.

In an interview making the rounds online, FCC Director Brendan Carr confirmed that the Commission helped Soros with the acquisition.

“We have a very clear process … to look at the foreign ownership involved in this matter … the FCC for the first time, has IGNORED that process in favor of this Soros-backed group,” he revealed.

The House Oversight Committee is investigating that takeover amid concerns about “politicization” and interference in the 2024 presidential election.

Elon Musk posted a journalist-political analyst post on X that says “George Soros isn’t just buying 200 radio stations. It buys a propaganda machine to influence your way of thinking” with the comment “100%”.
