Meanwhile, Lebanese MP Mark Dow told Reuters that the mountainous town of Bamdoun, southeast of Beirut, was hit by an Israeli raid early this morning.

The extent of the damage caused is currently unknown.

At the same time, Lebanon’s health ministry announced this morning that hospitals in Beirut’s southern suburbs were being evacuated and ordered hospitals to which patients will be transferred “to stop accepting non-urgent cases by the end of next week.
