The US has reportedly offered Israel “tradeoffs” if it does not attack specific targets in Iran, according to reports by Israeli media outlet Kan11.

In particular, the information states that the US is willing to offer diplomatic and military assistance to Israel in exchange for not striking sensitive targets in Iran.

Israel has declared that it will give a tough response to Iran for the attack it launched against it with about 200 ballistic missiles, stressing however that this will be done in coordination with the US.

As reported by the Israeli Kan11 network, during the talks, American officials offered their Israeli counterparts extensive diplomatic support and additional military assistance if they did not proceed with an attack on certain targets on Iranian soil.

An Israeli official said on the matter that “”we consider the United States our ally, and we are always ready to listen to them. At the same time, we will do whatever is necessary to protect the citizens of Israel and the security of Israel.”

IDF chiefs continue to hold discussions to approve plans for a possible response to Iran, and according to a security official, the response “will be difficult.”

Meanwhile, it was announced earlier that Defense Minister Yoav Gallad will visit the United States on Wednesday and meet with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
