The US is the only country increasing the risk of conflict on the Korean Peninsula, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova argued, commenting on the US State Department’s appeal to North Korea to stop actions that increase the risk of conflict on the Korean Peninsula.

At the same time, Zakharova emphasized that South Korea and Japan, which she described as “critical security points in the region” are under pressure from the US and “have not [πολιτική] will to shake off the yoke of American manipulations”.
About 1.4 million young people enlisted or rejoined its armed forces North Korea this week, according to the North Korean state news agency (KCNA). The youth are determined to fight a “holy war to destroy the enemy with the weapons of revolution,” the relevant publication says.
