The epic blunder of a woman in New Jersey who, during a protest she made against Israel, has caused global uproar and reactions, tore up a Greek flag, as… she confused it with that of Israel! The incident was recorded on video and posted on Tiktok by the protester herself, who seems to be at all embarrassed not by the ignorance that apparently possesses her, since she herself posted a relevant snapshot stating that she mistakenly confused the Greek flag with that of Israel.
As recorded in the relevant video, the woman climbed onto a chair, untied the Greek flags from a restaurant and began to tear them up, shouting at the same time “Free Palestine, it’s genocide”.
In fact, not even the inscription “Greek Gyros” in the shop seems to have made her think that “something is wrong”.
“What are you looking at? Do you know what genocide is? They are killing children!” said the woman to the girl who was sitting at the cash register and watched the incident in amazement.
All this until the time when a man from her staff intervened that the flags are not of Israel as she thought, but of… Greece.
“What; Truth; I thought it was Israel’s! Truth;” she exclaimed in bewilderment and then apologized to the staff.
