The Russian government has decided to ban exports of cars, aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles by the end of this year, Reuters reports, citing TASS.

Russia, in response to Western sanctions over its invasion of Ukraine, has banned the export of certain goods and agricultural products, such as fertilizers.

If the West “causes problems” in Russia, then there will be “inevitable negative consequences for world markets “and food prices “They could increase further,” Vladimir Putin warned on Thursday amid a series of “waves” of sanctions.

Putin said Russia has “agreements” with friendly fertilizer countries, adding that he does not want to see increases in food prices in his country.

Former Russian Prime Minister and current Vice President of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev is directly threatening nationalization of Western companies that are leaving Russia one after another due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“Western companies leaving Russia because of the war in Ukraine are facing the nationalization of their factories and production facilities. “Companies will practically leave collectivity to their fate (…) We will give a start and a tough answer to this,” he warned on Thursday via Facebook.
