Mônica Bergamo: PF has already granted 3 humanitarian visa authorizations for Ukrainians

The Federal Police has already granted three authorizations for humanitarian visas to Ukrainians in Brazil. The PF data include services performed until Thursday (9) on Brazilian soil. The agency says that there may be a greater demand, as the service needs to be scheduled.

A decree signed by President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) allowed citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons from the war to live and work in Brazil.

Businesswoman Marcy Junqueira and the president of Instituto Tomie Ohtake, Ricardo Ohtake, attended the opening of the exhibition “Amazonia: The Creation Process of Sebastião Salgado”, at Itaú Cultural, in São Paulo, on Tuesday (8). The exhibition features photographic records made by the director of journalism at TV Cultura, Leão Serva, and by the producer Lélia Wanick about the backstage of Salgado’s work in the Amazon region. Filmmaker Helio Goldsztejn was also there.
