53% of French people want the government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier to collapse as they are angry with the draft budget he submitted, according to an Ifop-Fiducial poll on behalf of Sud Radio which was released today.

The poll showed that 67% of respondents are against the Barnier government’s budgetwhich aims to reduce France’s rising public debt with spending cuts and tax increases totaling 60 billion. euro.
