Israeli warplanes hit Hezbollah infrastructure and dozens of rocket launchers and facilities belonging to the terrorist group across Lebanon, the IDF announced.

The wave of airstrikes comes in response to a Hezbollah mortar attack in the Mount Dov area earlier this afternoon, in violation of a ceasefire agreement, the Israeli military says.

In addition, the IDF says they hit the launcher used to fire the two mortars at Mount Dov. The site was hit shortly after the attack.

“Hezbollah’s launches tonight constitute a violation of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon,” the Israeli military said in a statement.

“The State of Israel demands that the concerned parties in Lebanon fulfill their responsibilities and prevent Hezbollah’s hostile activity within Lebanese territory. The State of Israel remains committed to fulfilling the terms of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon,” the military added.
