Ukraine President Volodimir Zelenski said on Tuesday that he has requested a detailed report on how to deal with the impact of the Trump government’s decision to “freeze” the US aid to foreign countries.

Zelenski said that Ukrainian government vice -president Olexi Koulempa and other officials should evaluate the impact on the national level of the White House decision, which aims to re -examine whether US aid to foreign countries is in line with foreign policy of the new US government.

“These are humanitarian programs … Most of which are not executed by the Ukrainian government, but are distributed directly to our communities,” Zelenski said in a videotaped message released tonight. “We will determine which of them are vital and require immediate solutions”, Complete.

“Undoubtedly, we will support priority programs, such as those related to the children of Ukraine and our veterans, but also those concerning the protection of our infrastructure,”, Zelenski assured.

Since the start of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has been largely based on humanitarian aid from abroad, with the US providing financial support for many billions of dollars.
