Russia has probably “spent” on the Ukrainian front much more stand-off weapons fired from the air than it originally planned, the British Ministry of Defense said in a night news.
These are modern missiles and missiles that can hit a target from a long distance, protecting the attacker from the retaliatory fire of the defender.
The British attribute this to delays in achieving Russian goals and Russia’s failure to control Ukrainian airspace.
“As a result,” Russia said, “Russia is resorting to older, less accurate weapons, which are less effective militarily and are more likely to cause civilian casualties.”
It is also reported that according to the latest United Nations data, 726 civilian deaths have been recorded in Ukraine and another 1,200 have been injured.
The British ministry notes that the actual toll is likely to be “significantly higher” and will continue to rise as long as the conflict lasts.
