A blow that the Israeli army today launched on the basis of the Lebanese armed organization Hezbollah in East Lebanon, killed six people and injured two others, a Lebanese media reported.

The State Lebanon News Agency (NNA) stressed that the raid was made by “a hostile drone in the Saara area, next to the city of Janda, on the slopes of the Eastern Lebanon and resulted in the deaths of six people and the injury of two”.

The Israeli army (IDF) in a statement earlier today stressed that Israeli warplanes had carried out what it described as “a blow to a Hezbollah information services in the Beka Valley in Lebanon”.

The army said that the blow became “after terrorists were found to be operating in a site of construction and storage of strategic weapons belonging to the terrorist organization.”

IDF said he is still trying to eliminate any threat to the state of Israel and “will prevent any attempt at the Hezbollah terrorist organization to rebuild its strengths, based on the ceasefire agreements.”

A ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, which was implemented last November, was extended until February 18, according to the White House.

The Israeli forces, which would leave South Lebanon within 60 days, based on the agreement, remain there as the two sides are accused of violating the truce.
