Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today described the US President Donald Trump’s proposal to occupy control of the Gaza Strip.
“President Trump came with a completely different and much better vision for Israel – a revolutionary and creative approach”, which will “create many opportunities” for Israel, Netanyahu said at the start of the Israeli government cabinet that meets a few Hours after returning Netanyahu from a trip to the US.
The Israeli prime minister stressed that Donald Trump is “very dedicated to implementing his plan” for Gaza.
Trump said last week that the US would take control of the Gaza Strip, displace the 2.3 million Palestinian population there, and turn the Palestinian enclave into a “Middle East Riviera”.
Netanyahu noted that their talks with Trump at the White House led to “huge achievements that can guarantee Israel’s security for generations”.
