After a difficult week for fear that the truce would collapse, Hamas handed over Saturday morning 3 more Israeli hostages
In the hands of the Red Cross are the three Israeli hostages released today, Saturday by Hamas as scheduled for the truce agreement.
This is 46-year-old IAIR HORN, 36-year-old American-Israeli Sagui Dekel Chen, and 29-year-old Russian-Israeli Alexandre (SASA) Troufanov, who were released after 498 days of captivity.
Framed by heavily armed members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the three hostages were led to a platform set up and were asked to speak to the microphone. From early on tens of thousands of Palestinians had gathered to watch their release.
The three hostages appeared, each holding a “certificate of liberation”, as well as an embroidery showing a map of the claimed border of Palestine.
The Red Cross handed over the hostages to the IDFs who then reported that the 3 hostages had arrived in Israel.
The Russian-Israeli Sasa Trufanov, the American Israeli Shangie Dekel-Hen and the Argentinean Israeli Iair Horn “crossed the border with Israeli territory” and go to the point where members of their families will meet.
In return, Israel will release 369 Palestinian prisoners.
