A US judge suspended the redundancies of 11 CIA officers on Tuesday for five days ordered to resign or face impending dismissal, according to US President Donald Trump’s decision, their lawyer said.

Lawyer Kevin Salivan told Reuters that US Regional Court Judge Anthony Tngnga issued an oral administrative suspension after a hearing, giving the government a deadline until Thursday to submit its response to Salivan’s request.

“These people are fired only because of the case that they are leftists”Said Sullivan, a former CIA secret officer.

Administrative suspensions, which do not deal with the substance of a case, are orders for a short cessation of the lawsuit in order to maintain the status quo and to give the courts more time to examine legal arguments.

Sullivan said his clients are among 51 CIA officers who were temporarily appointed to Deia programs, who were put on a remuneration two days after US President Donald Trump issued a sweeping executive on January 22nd that terminates such programs throughout the government.

The 51 officers were invited to the Visitor Center, outside the highest security perimeter of the service in Langley, Virginia, and “seized” their identity insignia, he said.

They were given three options ordered to accept by 5pm on Wednesday afternoon: retirement by 1 October, resigning on Tuesday or end on May 20, according to copies of non -classified notifications received by the officers, according to Reuters.

If they did not make their decisions within the deadline, they would be fired, the relevant documents, one of which had positions for their signatures and the signing of a witness, would report.

Sullivan said the orders violate CIA’s administrative procedures, the administrative law and the constitutional rights of its customers.
