Zelensky speech: 80 to 90% of Russian units destroyed

by

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday that the Russian army had suffered “unprecedented losses” and that some Russian units had been “80 to 90 percent destroyed”.

“The Ukrainians have shown that they can fight more professionally than an army that has been waging wars for decades in various regions and conditions. We respond with wisdom and courage to the large number of equipment and troops sent to Ukraine,” Zelensky told His videotaped message was posted on social media.

He added that in areas where heavy fighting has taken place, the front line of defense is “full of corpses of Russian soldiers”.

“And these corpses, no one collects them. New units are sent to go right over them,” he said.

Evacuation corridors: Zelensky said eight evacuation corridors were operational on Saturday, but due to Russian bombing, authorities were unable to rescue people from Borodyanka in the Kiev region.

Authorities were also unable to deliver humanitarian aid to cities in the southern part of Hersonissos.

“Russian troops have blocked our escort. Why? Their goal remains the same. “Again, they are trying to create an image for their propaganda that Ukraine has left its citizens without necessities, as if Russia is constantly rescuing them from something,” Zelensky said.

* At the same time, it announced the banning of the activity of 11 parties that were characterized as pro-Russian.
