Heavily armed groups Chechen and Belarusian fighters who oppose the support that their leaders provide to Russian invasion of Ukraine enter the war on the side of the Ukrainiansreports a Times article.
The British newspaper points out posts on the social networking platform Telegram with armed Chechens wearing the yellow armband referring to Ukrainian army. In the photo posted, the gunmen are holding rocket launchers that look like they are made in Britain, firearms and Kalashnikovs.
The Telegram channel that hosts the photos refers to “Ikheria”her name separatist government in Chechnya that etried to become autonomous from Russia in the 1990s.
The caption of the photo states that these are the “real Chechens” and no “Kadyrov’s pigs, “They do only for photographs,” said Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who has supported Putin in the invasion.
It is also noted that Belarusian volunteers are already there in Ukraine to fight the Russian invader. Belarussian news agency Nexta has broadcast a video of a group of masked gunmen in Kyiv calling on Belarusians to rush to defense of Ukraine.
