Dozens of fires, which reinforce heavy winds, were raging in southern Chile Monday, where more than 40,000 acres were already turned into deception, according to Latin America authorities.

“We are facing a very complicated situation and all materials and all units have been mobilized in battle with these fires”the Chilean Interior Minister said Alvaro Elizalde During a press conference in Santiago.
