US President Donald Trump met today in his private residence in Mar-A-Lago, Florida with Finland President Alexander Stubb and discussed the strengthening of their bilateral cooperation and the possibility of buying ice-beings from Washington.

In a post on the Truth Social Social Network website, Trump said he “played a lot of golf” with Stubb.

“President Stubb and I are looking forward to reinforcing the corporate relationship between the US and Finland and this includes the market and development of a large number of icebreakers needed by the US, for the peace and international security of our countries and the world,” he said.

Stubb’s office in its statement clarified that the visit of the Finnish president, who had not been announced in advance, was a “private nature”. He added that the two presidents discussed foreign policy and foreign policy issues, especially the Ukrainian.
