Ukraine: Authorities Accuse Russia of Using Prohibited White Phosphorus Bombs – Video

Moscow also had accuse Kyiv of using banned white phosphorus bombs in the war in Ukraine as a war crime.

THE white phosphorus is a chemical that ignites on its own when it interacts with oxygen. It is usually used to illuminate enemy positions, because when it explodes, it produces great glow and heating energy and those who are exposed to it burn completely or get irreversible burns on the skin. The use of this weapon is prohibited by the Geneva Convention and the UN has expressed concern about its use.
