The Labor Party, in power in Britain, announced yesterday that it has made one of its MPs, Dan Norris, made it available after his arrest by police because he was suspected of raping at least one minor.

Police said they had arrested a sixth, suspected of sexually abusing a minor, kidnapping of a child and inappropriate behavior in the exercise of a public office.

“In the majority, (law) violations were committed in the years of 2000, but we are also conducting a rape investigation allegedly committed in the 2020 years,” he added.

The Labor Party confirmed last night that it has made available the northeast Somerset and Hanamm MP in southwestern England.

“The member of the Parliament Dan Norris was immediately made available by the Labor Party as soon as we were informed of his arrest. We will make no other comments as the research is ongoing, “said a spokesman for the faction.

Mr Norris, 65, was elected to the House of Commons in 2024. He had served as a member of the government of Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
