Two years before the presidential election in France, the far right is currently organizing a gathering of support for the head of Marin Lepen, who was condemned to deprive her of political rights, in a climate of tension with opposes expected in the French capital.

Lepen in the first -instance conviction of a case of embezzlement of European funds and the serious possibility of not being able to be a candidate in the 2027 presidential election – as the court deprived her of the right to be elected for five years – has exacerbated the tension in France.

The Paris Court of Appeal has to decide until the summer of 2026 on Lepen’s fate, three times a candidate in the presidential election, considered a favorite for 2027.

The head of the National Alarm does not seem willing to give up and give the party to the party president, Zordan Bardelas.

On the contrary: The far right party is on the counter: He denounced the “Judges of Tyrants” to the National Assembly, as described by MP Jean-Philip Tangi, and has called for a gathering of Lepen, which will take place today at 16:00 (Greek time).

Central French Prime Minister François Bairou estimated in the Le Parisien newspaper that it is “neither wise nor desirable” to organize a rally against a court ruling.

For his part, right-wing Xavier Bertrand, president of the O-De-de-De-Frans, where Lepen is elected, the concern of today’s gathering would be “a bad repetition of the Capitol”, a reference to the invasion of the US Capitol by his supporters.

“It is not a demonstration against judges,” but “in favor of democracy, in favor of Marin Lepen, in favor of popular sovereignty,” replied the Vice President of the National Alarm, Sebastian Senou.

However, Senou re -criticized the “unfair” ruling of the court and its immediate force, which “is essentially the political execution of the basic French political leader”.

Lepen is also supported by leaders from abroad: US President Donald Trump and Vice President Jay Di Vance have denounced a “witch hunt” conducted by the “left” European leaders.

Bairou responded by referring to a foreign “intervention”.

The far -left party disobedient France and the Ecologists will perform at the same time as the national alarm, about 5 kilometers.

In addition, there has been a scheduled rally of the Renaissance party of French President Emmanuel Macron in northern Paris for months.

Former French Prime Minister Gabriel Atal, who was elected leader of the party in December, intends to turn the party’s supporters’ meeting into a rally against the national alarm. The organizers also emphasized that this is a meeting aimed at defending the “rule of law”, “democracy and our principles”.

“Do we want France to Trump’s America or not?”, Renaissance General Manager Maxim Cordier asked.
