“As your prime minister, I will not capitulate to murderers who committed the worst slaughter against the Jewish people after the Holocaust”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Hamas has rejected a proposal for half of the remaining hostages in Gaza at the weekend because it demands the end of the war and an Israeli military retreat.
In his message, which was broadcast late by television late night, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced tonight that he ordered the army to step up pressure on Hamas. Still, Netanyahu said that although the price of war is heavy, Israel “has no choice but to continue to fight for our very existence, until the victory”. He even said that he could bring the Israeli hostages back “without submitting to Hamas’s commands”.
“If we capitulate to Hamas’ dictates now, all the great achievements of the war, which we have achieved with the value of our soldiers and our fallen and heroic wounded, all these achievements will disappear,” Netanyahu says in a recorded message.
“As your prime minister, I will not capitulate to murderers who committed the worst slaughter against the Jewish people after the Holocaust. Such a capitulation will endanger the country and will endanger you“, He adds.
The prime minister also rejects allegations that Israel can fool Hamas to return all hostages and then return to the war, and says that the international community would not allow it and those who support such a tactic do not understand how international relations work.
Statements about Iran
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists that he remains committed to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and attacking critics who accused the prime minister of failing to hit Iran’s nuclear facilities, who, as Netthanieu claims.
“It is fun to hear the criticism of those who opposed the actions I have taken with the aim of provoking blows and delaying Iran’s nuclear program in the past, actions without which Iran would have a nuclear weapon 10 years ago,” Netanyahu claims.
Last week, opposition leader Yair Lapid accused Netanyahu of limiting opportunities to hit Iran, while former Prime Minister Nftali Bennett said Netanyahu failed to keep threats against Tehran.
