“We must all stop Russia. The world must stop the war. I am grateful to all those who act in favor of Ukraine. In favor of freedom. But the war continues. The terror against peaceful people continues. A month has already passed! It’s been so long! “This breaks my heart, all Ukrainians and every free man on earth,” the Ukrainian president said in a new sermon from the streets of Kiev posted on Facebook.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky called on citizens of all countries to demonstrate in support of Ukraine.
“We must all stop Russia. The world must stop the war. I am grateful to all those who act in favor of Ukraine. In favor of freedom. But the war continues. The terror against peaceful people continues. A month has already passed! It’s been so long! This breaks my heart, all Ukrainians and every free man on earth.
I ask you to stand up against the war starting on March 24, exactly one month after the Russian invasion. “From now on, show your position, come from your offices, your homes, your schools and universities, come in the name of peace, come with Ukrainian symbols to support Ukraine,” Zelensky pleaded and urged to unite against the Russian invasion, saying that “Russia’s war is not only the war against Ukraine, but its meaning is much broader.”
He once again addressed the Russian people, saying that the war, like the Russian state propaganda, is financed by their taxes, and called on the Russians to “save their sons from the war.”
Zelensky expressed confidence that the peoples of the West would show support during the summits in Brussels.
“We are waiting for serious steps. From NATO, the EU and the G7. “We know that the Russians have already begun to exert pressure on their interests,” he said, noting that Ukraine had not yet received any aircraft or missiles from its allies.
“We asked to close our skies. And we called for NATO assistance to be effective and unrestricted for Ukraine. Any support with weapons we need. “We have asked the Alliance to state that it will fully assist Ukraine in winning this war, clearing our territory of the invaders and restoring peace in Ukraine.”
