US President Donald Trump denies recent reports that have been preventing Israel from attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities, telling Time magazine on Friday that “this is not right”.

In particular, Donald Trump further clarified his involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict stressed that “no, it is not right. I didn’t stop them [τους Ισραηλινούς]. But I didn’t make it easier for them, because I think we can reach an agreement without attack. I hope. We may need to attack, because Iran is not going to get a nuclear weapon. I didn’t make them easy, but I didn’t say no. In the end, I was going to leave the decision to them, but I said I would prefer an agreement to falling bombs. “

In an interview with Time, Trump was also asked about his direct talks with Iran and if he would be open to a meeting with the president or top leader of Iran, responding positively, saying: “Of course.”

Concerning concerns that the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu may drag him into a war with Iran, Trump said he was not worried at all, simply answering: “No”.
Trump also said that he believes that “Saudi Arabia will join Abraham’s agreements”, noting “this will happen.”

Time magazine said Trump is proud that, during his first term, he encouraged European countries to invest more in their safety, as well as to promote peace between Israel and several Arab neighboring countries.
