Earthquake 7.4 degrees struck the Drake passage between Cape Horn and Antarctica in Chiletoday, according to the German Geosciences Research Center (GFZ).

Specifically, the earthquake occurred 219 kilometers (136 miles) off the coast of the city of Osuaia in Argentina at 13:58 local time, according to the United States Geological Survey. The earthquake had a focal depth of 10 km.

The Chilean National Disaster Prevention and Response Service ordered the evacuation of the coastal area of ​​Maggainen Province in the south Chile due to the risk of tsunami after the earthquake.
