The head of Houthi, in response to previous statements by Donald Trump that the two sides had come to an agreement on a ceasefire, said the interruption of the United States “aggression” against Yemen would be evaluated.

At the same time, he said that the Houthi would continue their support in Gaza, even calling on the Israelis to “remain in the shelters” because their government would not be able to protect them, possibly indicating that the US agreement with the US is not included.

The head of Houthi also commented that the recent US president’s recent announcement demonstrates “the separation of US support for Israel” and, he said, “the failure of Netanyahu”.

It is noted that in a separate reaction, Houthi had said that they would continue their attacks until the war in Gaza stopped.

“The people of Yemen remain committed to pressure options against the Israeli entity until the attack on Gaza stops and the exclusion is lifted,” the statement said. “Israeli and American aggression will not remain unanswered and will not prevent Yemen from continuing its supportive attitude towards Gaza.”

Earlier, Donald Trump had stated that the United States had reached a truce agreement with the Houthi in Yemen and would suspend air raids in the area, claiming that fighters would no longer target ships in the Red Sea.

“I will accept their reason and stop the Houthi bombing immediately,” Trump said during a meeting at the Oval Office with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

“They just don’t want to fight, and we will respect it,” he noted.

Marco Rubio, who holds both the position of Foreign Minister and the Temporary National Security Adviser, said the aim of the raids on Houthi’s targets was to stop their attacks on navigation in the area. “If they stop, then we can stop too,” Rubio said.

The US has hit over 1,000 targets under the Rough Rider, which lasts more than 50 days.

The US president’s statements were also confirmed by Oman, who said he had mediated a ceasefire agreement between the Yemeni and the United States.

According to Oman’s statement, neither side will target the other, including US vessels in the Red Sea and in the straits of Bab al-Mandeb.

The announcement made no mention of Houthi’s attacks on Israel.
